MOBILE LIBRARY TO SERVE WEST CAVAN
Last Updated on Monday, 05 July 2010 17:07 Written by www.ronanmcmanus.ie Monday, 05 July 2010 17:02
West Cavan Councillor, John Paul Feeley has welcomed the allocation of funding under the Library Capital Programme 2010-2011 announced by Michael Finneran T.D., Minister for Housing and Local Service.
‘The people of Blacklion, Dowra, Swanlinbar and Corlough are entitled to access to public services like all other areas of the County. I accept that it is not practical to provide permanent services in every area. The provision of a mobile library service visiting on a regular basis fills the gap and will, I hope meet the needs of the community,’ stated Councillor Feeley.
